I completed my Beauty Therapy training in 2007, and started my career as a Beauty Therapist, working in the prestigious Lox Day Spa in Tauranga where I was introduced to the amazing Janesce pure and natural skin care range then later the Bestow, beauty from within range of products.
The philosophy of treating skin both topically ,and from within has proved to be the most rewarding journey as I have helped many clients take the first steps into a skin care journey resulting in soft, hydrated and glowing skin.
I went on to open NATURALLY YOU Beauty Therapy in my home in 2010 in the stunning Whakamarama area, where my business grew as did my passion for all aspects of beauty therapy.
As a REGISTERED NURSE with over 35 years’ experience, my desire is always to make people feel better, whether it is treating a patient who is very ill, or a client in my beauty room, treating a skin condition, carrying out a luxurious facial, shaping and tinting brows, carrying out a leg wax…….my goal is always to have the person I am treating feeling better because of my treatment and care of them.
I have continued my education with short post grad courses in skin disorders and their treatment and other aspects of beauty therapy the latest being in Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).
I am using DERMAPEN 4 to treat skin conditions such as Pigmentation, Skin Rejuvenation, and Rosacea to name but a few. An in-depth knowledge of the skin, both the anatomy and physiology is required and an understanding of treatment indications, contraindications and considerations to ensure the best outcome for the client is vital and as an RN and I am very excited to have the opportunity to offer this treatment to those who want to pursue this journey.
